LOL.

It’s been ten years since my now-husband was on a popular reality TV show. He’s trying to record a 1-minute video celebrating the occasion of its 500th episode.

It’s taking him a while to say the right-for-him thing. Having missed the first journey, I am enjoying every second of this one!

No, I’m not naming the show in text & making it searchable.

“That was lame!” he just told his camera after his last take.

Lame? Nah. I’m enjoying listening to this all on a vacation day. It’s all fantastic to me.

    Hah! No way.

He did a Q&A on it here some years back. I was fine mentioning it by name then, but … I feel differently about doing so again, though I couldn’t explain why!

(Also? I honestly didn’t realize his Q&A was more’n a half-decade ago. Where is all this time going?!)

I think I remember him. I haven’t watched that show in ages but I sure enjoyed it back then.

Its first season aired while I was newly in law school. A roommate would come watch it in my room. Other than that, I only watched his season when it was finally released on DVD a couple years back.

I laughed at him when he announced he’d been on it. Now I appreciate some of the impact it had on him and smile instead of laughing. 🙂

Suffering, even if it is controlled suffering, can teach you a ton about yourself and what you are made of. He has my respect. 🙂

I forgot that the comments strip hyperlinks, so here’s the link that was stripped from my earlier comment: https://deborah-bryan.com/2011/12/18/your-survivor-questions-for-ba-d-answered/

Don’t mean to be shallow, but that’s a great shirt!
