In 2004, I escaped Bar exam studies in favor of spending a year in Japan. In contrast to my time in South Korea, one year turned into a year and a half, the joys and sorrows of which I also captured in my letters back home. To complement those letters, I’ve posted some of my Japan photos here.

Amazing photos!!!!!! My 13yr old daughter studies Japanese, speaks and writes Japanese.. listen to the music, loves anime.. (I’m not sure but I think she may be Asian) I’m going to show her this when she gets home!
Thank you! I hope your daughter enjoys/enjoyed the photos.
How did she get into Japanese, if you care to share? I’m extremely curious!
So sorry… I’m new to this and didn’t realized I had to scroll down to see the replies that I made with responses attached.. how lame am I? N-E WHoo… my daughter has a fine group of cultural friends.. and more Asian than any.. she started drawing first, then got into anime and now she wants to move to Japan.. I don’t know.. but I guess it was an influence of environment. We live in a good neighborhood and great schools, so I’m pleased that she has met fascinating people..
I knooooww… I’m soooo late..
